The
incoming water line, (# 1) in the center,
which comes up through a True-Union Ball-Check to prevent solution falling
back to
our Re-Use Pump, into horizontal True-Union Ball Valves that supply both ejectors
(# 2 Cl2 & # 3 SO2).
System Hydraulic Pressures can be measured @ Ports
(# 7), Upstream Pressure for both Ejectors and
at (# 8 & # 9) Downstream for System Diagnosis.
The Ejectors are supplied with gas through Secondary Check Valves (#
12 & # 13) for additional protection of the Flow-Proportional Valves
and other equipment. If the Ejector internal checks get dirty, a high
probability in Re-Use Systems at Wastewater Plants, the soft Viton Checks
will seal more easily to keep water from entering the Flo-Pro's, Remote
Metering Panels (# 4) and Gas Regulators
(# 10 & # 11). True-Union Ball Valves
can isolate the Ejectors for quick & easy service.
Any of the True-Union Valves can have the
valve body quickly replaced.
All hardware other than the Cliks
hangers is 304
Stainless Steel. All PVC fittings and True Union ball valves are
Schedule 80 and are made by Spears to ensure we can economically duplicate any of
the pieces for repairs or replacement.
Spears maintains a warehouse in Denver for wholesale to Distributors.
Our distributor is Harrington Plastics and they
provide our Spears PVC piping supplies as well as other items we use for
these systems.
Spare valves and fittings are
always recommended so you can keep your systems running and maintain
your redundancy requirements !
